The document contains the requirements for the EMC (emission and immunity) for wide-paging equipment and for ancillary equipment. It has the status of a Product standard for the above mentioned equipment which is intended for use in the environments residential, commercial, light industry and industry and in the vehicular environment. The requirements were specified by reference to the relevant Basic resp. Product Family Standards. EMC phenomena at the antenna port which are relevant for compliance with the essential requiremnets of EC Council Directives are specified in annex A. These requirements concern spurious radiations, spurious response immunity and blocking immunity. Clauses of this standard or this ETS, respectively, which are relevant for compliance with the requirements of EC Council*Directives are loistended in the annex C. Details of the measurement method for radiated disturbances are described in annex B.
