This guideline aims for the qualification of skilled personnel in the lifts industry. The guideline describes contents and basic conditions of trainings suitable for qualification. The guideline provides a basis for furnishing proof of specialised knowledge. Successful participation in the qualification measures does not automatically make a person a qualified person. This guideline is intended for personnel, but not organisations, working for NBs or approved inspection institutions. Contents of training for other systems requiring monitoring are not specified.
